Frequently Asked Questions

  • Clean Lashes = Improved Retention

Neglecting to wash your lashes can lead to a buildup of oil, skin, dirt, and makeup on your extensions, resulting in quicker loss of your lash extensions. Failing to maintain a clean lash routine not only increases the likelihood of losing your extensions prematurely but also heightens the risk of eye infections and damage to your natural lashes. Prioritizing cleanliness is essential for the longevity and health of your lash extensions.

  • Dispense 1-2 pumps of lash cleanser onto the back of your hand. Using a clean, soft, fluffy makeup brush, swirl the foam gently. Apply the mixture to your eyelids and lashes, ensuring you focus on the base of your lash extensions from both above and underneath, as this is where buildup tends to accumulate.

Wash your lashes vertically, positioning the brush parallel to your lash extensions. Avoid circular or horizontal motions, as these can twist the lashes and lead to premature loss. Rinse your eyelids with cool water using the makeup brush. Pat dry with a tissue, and once dry, comb through your lashes with a clean mascara wand.

Regularly cleaning your lashes from the start is essential. It is significantly more challenging to achieve a squeaky clean lash line once buildup has formed.

  • ✔️ Keep your lash extensions dry for the first 24 hours.
✔️ Avoid rubbing your eyes to prevent pulling out the extensions.
✔️ Stay away from high heat environments (such as hair dryers and ovens).
✔️ Clean your lashes with lash shampoo at least once daily.
✔️ Regularly brush your extensions with a lash wand.
✔️ Refrain from using oil-based cosmetics and makeup products around the eyes.
✔️ Do not apply mascara (including on bottom lashes) or use a lash curler.
✔️ Schedule your lash appointment every 2-3 weeks for fills or a fresh set.

    • Arrive for your appointment with a completely clean face, free of any makeup around your eyes. This will not only save time but also eliminate the need for your lash artist to remove any eye makeup.

    • Refrain from consuming caffeine for at least six hours prior to your appointment. Caffeine can cause your eyes to flutter, making it more challenging for your lash artist to work effectively.

    • Opt for comfortable clothing for your session. Since you’ll be lying down for an extended period, wearing cozy attire will help you relax and enjoy the pampering experience.

    • Come in freshly showered with clean hair. Please note that you won’t be able to wet the lashes for the first 24 hours after application.

  • Feel free to bring inspiration pictures to your appointment; however, it's important to understand that your lashes will not look exactly like someone else's. Each person's lashes are unique, influenced by individual eye shapes and the characteristics of their natural lashes. This uniqueness is part of their charm! Several factors will contribute to the distinct appearance of your lashes, including your eye shape, the length and thickness of your natural lashes, and the overall health of your lash line.

  • Many individuals new to eyelash extensions often perceive that their natural lashes shed more quickly once extensions are applied. However, this isn’t the case if the extensions are properly applied and maintained. The increased visibility of shedding may be due to the thicker, darker extensions, making the loss more noticeable. It’s important to remember that natural lashes follow their regular growth cycle, which typically spans 60 to 90 days, even with extensions.

  • Classic lashes are simple, beautiful and natural-looking eyelash extensions. They are applied on a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension is attached to one natural lash. Classic lashes won’t add volume, but will add length.

Hybrid lashes are a mixture of both classic lashes and volume lashes. Choosing hybrid extensions gives you the best of both worlds. Hybrid extensions offer a variety of texture and more volume.

Volume lashes add length and volume, to create a very dramatic and full look. They involve applying a "fan" of lash extensions to one lash. So, instead of the 1:1 ratio of classic lashes, it would be 1:3.
